OPI DS Desire

Here is OPI DS Desire, from OPI's designer series. The first two pictures are taken under the sun and the third one in the shade. You can see how holographic polishes come alive under the sun.

More Crackle

While I was doing my OPI No Room for the Blues Cracking manicure, my daughter was having a playdate with her bf. Girls found the cracking polish fascinating and wanted orange and black combo,  the colors of San Francisco Giants. Here is three of us showing our cracked manicures:)

OPI Mad as a Hatter + WetnWild Coloricon Night Owl

Night Owl is a dark purple cream and it is from the limited edition Halloween collection. Even though I like the colors of  WetnWild polishes they chip very quickly so I usually use them for nail art or Konad. This coloricon one was much better than their core collection. I applied Barielle Camuflage as my base coat, then 2 coats of Night Owl. I went to a meeting that night and this gave enough time to my nails to dry completely. Then I added Mad as a Hatter using tape and Poshe top coat. I loved this manicure because it had the glitter and creme together, best of both worlds:)

Minnie Mouse for Halloween

This Halloween I was Minnie Mouse and here are my matching nails!
I have used 3 coats of OPI Ali's Big Break and finished with Poshe top coat. Ali's Big Break is a very nice red with micro glitter from the  Burlesque collection.

Sally Hansen SC Bittersweet & OPI Extra-Va-Vaganza

Like I have said many times before, I like Sally Hansen Salon Manicure polishes. This one is from 2010 winter limited edition collection. I was looking for a nice brown creme and I am impressed with its pigmentation.
I bought two colors from the OPI Burlesque collection: Extra-va-vaganza and Ali's Big Break. I think Extra-va-vaganza is the perfect glitter for fall...

OPI Ski Teal We Drop and Konad M79-Konad M56

Opi Ski Teal We Drop is a gorgeous teal creme polish.  I've got the inspiration for this konadicure from Emerald Sparkled's nail blog. Her version is much cleaner than mine but I am working on it:) I have used Konad M56 plate to stamp the ribbons across the nail and I filled the upper part with dots from Konad M79 plate. It is a little bit of challenging to put the dots, but patience helps... I used white Konad special polish to make the designs.
