Chanel Paradoxal + Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Concrete Konad M57

This is my second time wearing Chanel Paradoxal. After I bought this polish I was very excited but I got my first chip right away. This time, I thought if I apply a layer of top coat and konad then another layer of top coat it won't chip that fast. Well, I was wrong!  After only one day of wear, I had big chips on the tips(you can see them in the pictures). After spending $23 on a nail polish you expect not only a great color but also good application and wear. I don't think I would buy another Chanel polish again. When I compare it with my $3 Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear , Chanel just fails big time...

OPI Ski Teal We Drop and Konad M79-Konad M56

Opi Ski Teal We Drop is a gorgeous teal creme polish.  I've got the inspiration for this konadicure from Emerald Sparkled's nail blog. Her version is much cleaner than mine but I am working on it:) I have used Konad M56 plate to stamp the ribbons across the nail and I filled the upper part with dots from Konad M79 plate. It is a little bit of challenging to put the dots, but patience helps... I used white Konad special polish to make the designs.

Maybelline Matte Saphire

This is one of my dollar tree finds:) I found bunch of Maybelline nail polishes at my local Dollar Tree. It is a navy polish with shimmer and it is matte. I did not know that Maybelline had matte polishes...

Matching nail art for best friends

What do two eight year old girls do when they have a playdate at our house? Yes, the answer is nail art. Girls wanted to do something matching so I applied Maybelline white two coats to one of them and Pure Ice- wild thing to the other one and they picked a cat from Bundle Monster plates as their design (#BM04). If you find Konad plates expensive, Bundle Monster plates are a cheaper alternative. They are available at amazon.com for a really good price. Another good tool that makes cute nail art is dotting tool. I bought mine from Sally's beauty supply store but you can find it online too. Here are some cheaper alternatives; you can use a bobby pin , or tooth pick ...

Here is the picture of my dotting tool:

Nina Ultra Pro- Out of the Blue +Deborah Lippmann- Across The Universe

I have applied one coat of Nina Ultra Pro- Out of the Blue as my base coat then one coat of Lippmann ATU. Across the Universe is a dark blue jell base with blue and green hexagonal glitter and you need at least 2 coats to make it opaque.
